  1. Kelly Brown says:

I adore martyn joseph’s music and I’d vote for him in folk singer/songwriter. the song is beautifully crafted and sung with such passion. he works so hard and is a genuine lovely man who deserves to win. go Martyn!!

  2. Barbi T says:

LiveWire is one of the best thing to happen to country music in a very long time. They’re a band of musical brothers who are a pure joy to listen and dance to. Their singing and writing skills can take you from hard, driving tunes that stir you to get up and dance, to the point of tears with their personal stories like “What makes you a Man”. These guys sing from the heart and tell stories we can all identify with. They leave you wanting to hear more.

  3. NancyH says:

Miss Melodee is amazing! Her music mirrors her enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring children and couldn’t be more worthy of the nomination (and award)!

  4. Christel Lea says:

Love Jamie Laval…..Murmers and Drones. How do I ‘vote’ for that.

  5. IMA Robert says:

To Vote for Jamie, go to http://www.independentmusicawards.com/imanominee/11th/Album/World-Traditional and click on “Login or Register To Vote”

  6. Big Zero says:

Woohoo! Thoughtsarizen got the nod! Such an intelligent artist, something you don’t see alot of in hip-hop. Great work!

  7. Betty/Norman says:

    How do we vote??

  8. IMA Robert says:

There’s a link in the menu at the top of the page called “Vote.”

  9. Jennifer Berard says:

The Carper Family’s album “Back When,” nominated in the Country category, is the most original compilation of any genre that I’ve heard in a very long time. A fantastic mix of three extremely talented singer-song writing women. They take turns on vocals so each song is unique. Their harmonization is spot on, the melodies are a beautiful throw back to a pure style of country, yet lyrics are current, clever, sometimes even edgy or even quirky (e.g. Who R U Texting 2Nite). “Back When,” “Don’t Treat Me Too Nice” and “Cold Dark and Lonely” are three of the my favorites, but there is not a bad song on this album. My kids won’t stop asking for Texas, Texas Texas.
