All That Remains stamp on the underground metal scene began with its debut album, 2002’s Behind Silence and Solitude (Prosthetic Records). Throughout the band’s career thus far, they have released four studio albums, a live CD/DVD, and have sold over 470,000 albums in the U.S.
The band’s second (This Darkened Heart) and third albums (The Fall of Ideals) were produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. The later is considered to be the band’s breakthrough release, entering the Billboard 200 charts at number 75, selling almost 13,000 copies in its first week. Two music videos were created, with one incorporating footage from Saw III (as it was the lead song from the movie’s soundtrack). Soon after, the band played 2006 Ozzfest and the song “Six” was featured in Guitar Hero II. On June 20, 2007, it was announced that The Fall of Ideals had surpassed 100,000 sales in the United States.
In early 2008, they embarked on a headlining tour with support from Chimaira and Black Tide.
All That Remains’ latest release, Overcome (Razor & Tie) was recorded in May 2008 with reknowned metal producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, Bury Your Dead, The Black Dahlia Murder, DevilDriver, God Forbid, Job for a Cowboy). Two singles from the album (“Chiron” and “Two Weeks”) were featured heavily on MTV2, and were also released for Rock Band as downloadable content, along with “This Calling.” “Two Weeks” was also featured as a free playable download on the popular iPhone OS game, Tap Tap Revenge 2.
They’ve had an incredibly busy year to date, playing the Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards with Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed & Suicide Silence (where past IMA Judge Ozzy Osbourne was honored); co-hosting both Sirius XM’s Octane Big UNS countdown and MTV2′s popular Headbanger’s Ball; and playing the Jägermeister stage of the popular Rockstar Mayhem Festival with 6th annual IMA Winners God Forbid, as well as Trivium, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Bullet for My Valentine, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Job for a Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder & Whitechapel.
