WHAT UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS OR TECHNIQUES DID YOU USE ON THIS ALBUM? I chose to use both live and digital instruments for this album, as well as separate as in combination. All the songs have got different structures to keep it fresh and surprising playing the next song. I often wrote the songs while the bandsman or producers were creating the instrumentals and we went along from where we both were going.
DID FANS HELP FUND THIS PROJECT? Not directly funding, but they helped building a network and getting the songs out here; Yes!
WHO IS SITTING IN YOUR AUDIENCE: They’re young, old, Soul/R&B, Reggae, or just world music minded and touched by words and intention.
WHAT MAKES YOUR FANS UNIQUE? That over the years they’re still determined about me being able to reach a worldwide audience.
WHERE HAVE YOU TOURED? The Netherlands, Germany and The Caribbean.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO PLAY? Jamaica, The Netherlands, Germany and Surinam.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST EXCITING MOMENT TO DATE? Performing on The Rising Sun Festival 2009 in St. Ann’s Bay Jamaica for a non-commercial crowd.
WHAT’S IN THE WORKS FOR 2010? Releasing the last single/video, “Anybody,” of the album Tables Turn and as a producer for Jah SolidRock releasing a Chezidek album and a next own album with surprising features.
