What’s the meaning of your band name?
The name Collide was chosen as it seemed to represent the clashing and melding of styles into a powerful whole, the coming together of two different entities. The name Squirrelhoof was considered very briefly.

Did you use any unusual effects or instruments in this recording? no
Were there any happy accidents while in the studio, or did everything go as planned? It was fun taking the vocals to another level, with harmonies, and vocal effects at the end.

Any close calls or mishaps while on tour? Our drummer slept through the border check through Canada, on the bus, when everyone was supposed to be off, and no one even noticed that he was missing, and the border people never found him either.
Should music be free? not at all.
How has digital affected your career? We’re able to make albums in the comfort of our own home studio.
Are digital singles vs. full albums the future of music? Even thought we still love albums, it’s great to be able to release just a digital single at anytime. We recently released a single with different donation amounts to help fund our new album.
Finish this sentence: The music industry is…hard, and as difficult as ever to make a living from.
