“Corazon Latino is a partnership of musicians from Colombia and Switzerland. Desde Barranquilla is their second album and it brings listeners the sound of the Colombian coast using a rich mix of traditional instruments, infectious rhythms and original songs composed by the group. This acoustic album is a breath of fresh, infectious music as good as the aroma of just-brewed Colombian coffee.
…Great acoustic music with traditional Colombian instruments….”

“Winner of Kuratorium Kt. Aargau Price September 2007″
“SONG OBA is Winner of the Global Rhythm magazine/ Sonic Bids Song contest for March 2008.”
This is the second album by CORAZON LATINO, maintaining the unique acoustic touch they are known for. New songs, all written by members of CORAZON LATINO and new sounds contributed by some of the best musicians from the carribean coast of Colombia. There are folkloric instruments used as the gaita, bombardino and clarinette. Beneath it all stays the rich percussionsound accompanied by the great basslines of Edgardo Fabregas.
There is a lot of space for the wonderful voices of CORAZON LATINO’s Leadsingers: Gloria Velandia and Sebastian Enrique. Einar Escaf who is one of Colombias most known producers (Carlos Vives) and Andy Bopp, director, composer and guitarplayer of CORAZON LATINO have produced a wonderful album that breathes the air of Colombias Coast. As always the album goes straight to the heart of latino music because its CORAZON LATINO.
