Deblois (pronounced by saying all the letters, it rhymes with “choice” or “rolls royce”) has played extensively on the East and West Coasts of the States as well as Central America, and the Bahamas. She is working on her fourth studio album at Proxy Studios in Oceanside, CA. Deblois plays acoustic roots music; soulful original tunes with an eye for the universal.

Catch her live show with Danny Campbell on drums and cymbals, James East on bass guitar and backing vocals in NYC, L.A. or Miami. Deblois has been touring the U.S. since April of 2006 in support of her debut release, “Leviathan”, and hasn’t looked back yet! In 2007 her songs “South of Okeechobee” and “Dont Blink” were chosen as part of the soundtrack for a PBS documentary called Escape to Dreamland about the history of the Tamiami Trail, (the legendary road built through the swamps of the Everglades connecting Miami and Tampa). She has provided support for acclaimed artists such as America, Nil Lara, David Wilcox, Suenalo, The Spam Allstars. Deblois spent several years (from 2001 to 2005) in a small Central American town honing her performance and songwriting skills and emerged on the other side of this experience with a whole new outlook; speaking Spanish, driving a motorcycle, fording rivers and captivating audiences with her easy going and very real tunes. Most people notice her voice first, even when she is only speaking you can sense a depth, a magical quality, and when she sings this is all the more apparent. Her songs are like a tackle box and you can choose the hook that fits your life and times. She brings something special to the stage as a singer songwriter, you feel like you might already know her, and you feel as though she definitely already knows you.
