This is the real deal. Great album and outstanding playing.
Fabulous tunes selected on here. I really enjoy the tempo and the arrangement on “4Newk”. It is an upbeat piece. Will look for tour dates!
This is a great cd with outstanding players. I was not aware that Dr.Derrick Gardner was the composer of the cookin tune,4NEWK.The first time I heard it was at Michigan State University(MSU), being played by the MSU Professors of Jazz,which Dr. Derrick was a member.
