WHERE WAS SONG RECORDED? It was recorded in Propeller Studio in Oslo, Norway.
WHERE IS YOUR MUSIC AVAILABLE? You can get the whole album online on several Web sites, Amazon.com, iTunes etc. The album was released in Europe last year and is available in any record shop. We´re also gonna release the album in USA in May.
WHICH GENRES BEST DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC? Folk/Pop/Rock
WHAT’S THIS SONG ABOUT? It´s about running away from the reality and the everyday life to-for example- a bar in Amsterdam.
WHAT UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS OR TECHNIQUES DID YOU USE ON THIS SONG? On this song, we have the usual drums and acoustic guitar, but the bass is quite unique. It´s a kontrabassbalalaika, a three-stringed instrument from the Russian balalaika-family. In addition to that, we used the trumpet on the hookline. We recorded it live in studio.
WHAT MAKES YOUR FANS UNIQUE? They´re smiling no matter what. We haven´t experienced one concert yet where the crowd hasn´t been singing or dancing. And we´ve actually heard from the crews at the venues that our audiences and fans are the most well-behaved.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO PLAY? We have a philosophy that every venue and every audience is the right one so it´s really hard to just pick a few favorite places. The last year we´ve been travelling a lot around the world and it might sound as a cliché, but it´s all been fantastic. We´ve been playing for jumping crowds in Russia, dancing crowds in the States at the Bonnaroo, Summerfest and SXSW, ecstatic fans in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium, and of course the different venues here in Norway like Rockefeller and Sentrum Scene. We love it all!
WHAT HAS BEEN THE BAND’S MOST MEMORABLE ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE? Several things: Our debut album was nominated in the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemannsprisen) in the “Best New Act” of 2008; we´ve played at the world’s two largest festivals, Bonnaroo (invited by David Byrne) and Summerfest where we got the chance to support Elvis Costello and we´ve supported Keane at the O2 arena in London and been on exciting tours in Germany and the Benelux countries.
WHAT’S IN THE WORKS FOR 2010? We´re starting off with a tour in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands in February. After that, we´re heading to the UK and the States where we will join the Lilith Fair tour. In between the tours, we´re working on new songs for our second album, which we´re recording in October.

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF SUCCESS? Trust your instincts and do as many concerts as possible. There´s not a venue, arena or audience that´s wrong for your music, you just have to convince them that you are worth listening to.
WHAT’S ON YOUR IPOD THAT WOULD SURPRISE YOUR FANS? I´m not sure, maybe the most surprising would be Mozart´s “Requiem.”
