WHAT UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS OR TECHNIQUES DID YOU USE ON THIS ALBUM? We used samples and loops mixed with live congas and percussion for the drums. Lee helped with a lot of the beats to get that genuine roots feel, but we were keen to keep a modern edge on things, so ended up mixing live and electronic sounds. The track started out as an R&B style rhythm, but we found that it is only a few short steps to convert R&B to Reggae, and that became the mission. Lee always says he is a soul man at heart.
DID FANS HELP FUND THIS PROJECT? No.
