Marcelo Krasilcic was born in Brazil in 1969 and has lived in New York since 1990. He graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography in 1992. He has developed a wide body of work ranging from still to moving images and performance. It includes portraiture, fashion, still life, music videos and conceptual art. His work has been published in various magazines – Art Forum, Visionaire, V, Harper’s Bazaar, Details, The Face, Dazed and Confused, Arena Homme plus, Purple, Liberation, Self-Service, Dutch, Vogue Homme International. He has exhibited in many galleries around the world including Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; Kintetsu Art Museum, Tokyo; ARCO, Madrid; Museu de Arte Moderna, Sao Paulo; Louvre, Paris.
