Did fans help fun your project? The fans do help fund the records by buying them when they’re released. That money goes right back into the pot for making the next album.
Who is sitting in your audience? Beautiful people. I love the audience who’s been coming to the TRIO shows. It’s a really diverse, amazing bunch of people.
What makes your fans unique? They listen to lots of different kinds of music. And they’re open to taking the ride wherever the music leads us.
What are your favorite places to play? Yoshi’s in Oakland, Le Divan Orange in Montreal, River Street Jazz Cafe in Wilkes-Barre, Real Art Ways in Hartford; there’s so many great rooms. We like to mix it up between more traditional jazz spots and straight up rock venues.
