WHY DID YOU SELECT THIS TRACK TO SUBMIT TO THE IMAs? The song “Float Away” tells a story of an injured soldier coming home from the Civil War.

DID FANS HELP FUND THIS PROJECT? Of course, if it hadn’t have been for fans, there would have been no project. But there was no direct funding from fans. We paid for it ourselves.
DESCRIBE YOUR AUDIENCE: Everyone from kids, to skate punks, to retirees. The working class.
WHAT MAKES YOUR FANS UNIQUE? They like our music. Most of them are counter-culture in one way or another.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO PLAY? Real music venues, any place where the fans appreciate our music, farmers’ markets.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE BANDS’ MOST MEMORABLE ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE? NOT being killed by the bat that flew in the window of our van on the way home from a gig at 3:00 a.m.
Seriously, other than currently being nominated for an IMA, in April, 2009, we were nominated by our peers for three Northwest Arkansas Music Awards (NAMA), and won for the Roots/Country/Americana category.
WHAT’S IN THE WORKS FOR 2010? Record and release our new album, and work our butts off promoting our music.
FINISH THIS SENTENCE: THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS…experiencing a lot of change, mostly for the better as the major labels are losing their “choke-hold” on the artists.
WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF SUCCESS? Being happy doing what you do, staying true to your beliefs without the influence of others.
