Anne Saunders – Artistic Director for Falcon Ridge Folk Festival

Anne discovered the music festival volunteer circuit while in graduate school at Rensselaer Polytech. She was a bona fide molecular biologist pursuing a PhD when she became Falcon Ridge’s Publicity Director. She is now co-owner & Artistic Director of the fest, celebrating its 22nd year in 2010. Anne is also an ardent fan, artist manager, a sometimes agent, record producer, picker and even backing vocalist wearing many hats in the folk community. She serves as the Exhibit Hall coordinator for the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance conference and is a member of Folk Alliance International, the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association.
