Colleen Fischer

Formerly Vice President of Booking for Live Nation, Colleen Fischer was hired by Bob Roux to open the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston in 1998. The Live Nation owned and operated theater is one of the top performers in the Live Nation system.

As VP of Booking, Colleen was responsible for booking 3000-5000 seat theaters in the South. Those venues included both the Backyard and the Austin Music Hall in Austin where Live Nation had exclusive booking arrangements for many years. She also booked numerous shows for the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, The Nokia Theater in Ft Worth and the Plaza Theater in El Paso.

Prior to Live Nation, Colleen booked the venerable Rockefeller’s Nightclub in Houston. Rockefeller’s was known as Houston’s Premiere Showcase Nightclub. She remained there for 17 years and held numerous positions at Rockefeller’s.

Colleen is currently the Director of Booking at Austin City Limits Live.
