Dan Auerbach – The Black Keys

Akron, Ohio Blues Rock duo Dan Auerbach (vocalist/guitarist) and Patrick Carney (drummer/producer) have has achieved increasing critical acclaim and recognition as The Black Keys since their debut album, which was praised by Rolling Stone and landed them as one of the “10 Best Acts of 2003″ by Time magazine. They’ve toured opening for Sleater-Kinney, Beck and Radiohead, and performed at Lollapalooza 2005 and 2008. Commercial success includes the use of the songs for television promo for Sony, Victoria’s Secret and American Express as well as on episodes of The O.C., Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Big Love and Entourage and in video games including Grand Theft Auto and NHL 08.
