Jeremy Taggart – Our Lady Peace

Jeremy Ronald John Taggart is the current drummer for the Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace. Music was a central part of his youth, as his parents were also musicians. Taggart learned to play drums at an early age and was displaying a reasonably large amount of talent by the time he was in high school. He joined the then up-and-coming band 1993. In addition to drumming for Our Lady Peace, Taggart has worked on various side projects, including providing the drums for Chantal Kreviazuk, Geddy Lee As well as working on a mentor level with The Arkells. He started guest hosting on radio shows in the late 90’s with pals George Stroumboulopoulos and Jim Richards, then began his insane guest spots at The Edge in Toronto on the Dean Blundell morning show. He started his own Podcast Taggarts Take in 2006, it can be heard weekly on The Strombo Show and is also available on iTunes.
