I had not heard of Tom Waits until then.. I stopped what I was doing, listened, and then went out and bought the album Small Change. It is a life changer. Since then I have followed Tom and Kathleen's work closely and am truly appreciative that they continue to write and record. The world is a better place with their songs in it.. no lie.
