The multi-talented Zooey Deschanel is best known for her deadpan supporting roles in films such as Almost Famous (2000), The New Guy (2002), All the Real Girls (2003), Elf (2003), Winter Passing (2005), Tin Man (2007) and Yes Man (2008). In many of these films — as viewers heard — she’s showed off her beautiful set of lungs. Basking in her passion for music, Deschanel has performed in the jazz cabaret act If All the Stars Were Pretty Babies with fellow actress Samantha Shelton. She also plays the piano, percussion, xylophone, banjo and ukulele. More critical acclaim came her way with the release of Volume One, her debut album, recorded with M.
