Known for supporting artists who follow their own muse, The IMA program is for artists who are dedicated to making their living by making music. Submissions are judged for their unique artistry and originality, not press clippings or record sales.

There are more than 70 categories that recognize IMA honors. The program supports all styles of music as well as specialty categories including Love Song, Holiday Song, Social Action Song, Concept Album, Eclectic Album, Album Re-Issue and EP.

Unlike songwriting contests or battle of the band programs, The IMAs does not award cash or prizes. Winners and Nominees benefit from ongoing marketing campaigns, radio, print, online & broadcast promotions, performance and revenue opportunities.

I'm not sure if you remember our conversation at our IMA Living Room showcase...but before shoe. was honored with our IMA win, I was feeling pretty down & completely defeated.
